French toast sticks are a fun and easy breakfast or brunch treat that is perfect for kids and adults alike.

They are made by cutting bread into strips, dipping them in a custard mixture of eggs, milk, and spices, and then cooking them until golden brown and crispy.  

– 4 slices of bread – 2 egg – 1/2  cup of milk – 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

– 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg – 1/4 teaspoon of salt – 1 tablespoon of butter – Maple syrup, fruit, or whipped cream for serving

1. Cut the bread into 1-inch wide strips. 2. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
